We
are

Celestia Callisto is based in France’s Aerospace Valley near Toulouse.

Our teams have backgrounds in domains as varied as radio frequency engineering, cryogenics and programming.

Our customer base is worldwide. Our products support many types of ground stations, radio astronomy, geodesy, deep space communication and most recently lunar communications.

Thanks to close partnerships with national and international space agencies, our research and development team is at the forefront of technological developments in our sector – pushing the limits of performance.

Our 30 years of experience in radio frequency and cryogenics makes us an industry leader, and we continue to innovate, every day.

Design and manufacture high-performance front ends to boost G/T for ground stations

OUR FACILITIES

Based in France’s Aerospace Valley, 30 minutes from Toulouse, our company is  within easy reach of the region’s international airport.

Our main 500m² building houses our laboratories, workshops, storage facilities and offices. Additional laboratory and meeting spaces are in our second building. Both have state-of-the-art equipment.

RF production room

This dedicated space is for assembling small series of cryogenic units. It hosts our wire bonding zone equipped with MMIC mounting facilities such as gold wire bonding and a high-resolution microscope.

A reflow soldering oven completes our MMIC setup and allows us to prototype circuit boards for integration into our products.

RF & cryo testing room

This is equipped for RF testing and has connections to cryogenic systems for the use of our cryogenic test systems for internal testing as well as external service testing. Two cryostats can be connected simultaneously to carry out cryogenic testing.

State-of-the-art RF testing and measurement equipment is also used here to ensure optimal function of our products or their components, up to 40 GHz. The laboratory set-up includes network analysers, spectrum analysers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, specific calibration kits and supply sources. Our facilities are designed to execute multiple projects simultaneously whilst hosting our different technical domains in the same space.

Brazing

Our RF team has developed brazing capacities internally to avoid the delay and potential complications of externally sourcing brazing waveguide components. We can create complete waveguide systems for redundancy plates in house. Equipment includes an ultrasound cleaning machine, an acetelyne/oxygen brazing torch, flux, etc.
