Callisto is proud to announce the award of a new study for the European Space Agency. The objective is to study the feasibility of modifications of the existing ESA DSA1 and DSA 2 antennas to support an additional downlink frequency around 26 GHz.
Callisto will be present later this month at ESA’s Industry Space Days 2006 from 29 to 31 May at ESTEC, the European Space Research and Technology Centre in the Netherlands
Callisto is pleased to have been awarded a three year consultancy contract from EUMETSAT to provided engineering consultancy on the EUMETSAT satellite Ground Station network. The award of this contract will extend the involvement with the development and operation of EUMETSAT’s Ground Stations which Callisto has had since 1993.
Callisto is proud to announce further work orders with ESOC for 2006 : the provision of a spare S Band Cryogenic LNA for the New Norcia Station. A pair of S Band cryogenic LNAs were designed and built by Callisto as sub-contractor to SED Systems for the DSA1 project in 1999. These LNAs have subsequently been installed and operated in New Norcia since 2000.
Callisto is proud to announce further work orders with ESOC for 2006 : the provision of a set of three cryogenic X Band LNAs for the Kourou ESTRACK station. ESOC requires to improve the G/T of the Kourou 15m ESTRACK antenna in X Band to be able to support Deep Space missions. By using the 77K compact cryo LNA the G/T should be improved by between 1.5 and 2dB.
CALLISTO is proud to announce it has been chosen by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Carcassonne-Limoux-Castelnaudary to receive the ” Trophy of the Enterprise”. This reward recognises the dynamism, the technical innovation and the commitment shown by CALLISTO in the Space related projects.
CALLISTO was proud to join the companies invited by ESA for the inauguration of their new tracking station in Cebreros, Spain, on 28 September.
