We are currently seeking to recruit an additional engineer for our client based in Germany
In addition to having a University degree (or equivalent) in the relevant discipline, ideal candidates should have experience the following area:
- Ground Station Design /integration /testing
- Large antennas and tracking systems including Antenna Control Unit/ Tracking receivers
- TTC baseband equipment ( including ranging systems)
- High Data Rate Demodulators
- Maintenance and operation of large ground stations including site infrastructure
- Local and remote Monitoring & Control of large ground station and related databases and automated procedures
- Antenna, ACU for LEO satellites.
A distinct advantage will be to have experience with some of the following
- Commercial satellites and micro wave data links
- Basic knowledge of WAN, LAN and TCP/IP protocol
- IOT systems
- Timing systems
- Languages: English (reading, written, spoken) mandatory, German and or French knowledge being considered as an asset.
- The variety of the tasks and the scope of the system to be support require a high degree of autonomy.
- EU National or a current valid work permit to work in an EU country.
The position will be for an initial contract of 3 years. The employment package includes supplemental insurance package contributed to by the company (health care, retirement and disability). Salary will be negotiated depending on experience and qualifications.
