Callisto is building a new cryogenic Test Dewar for the Geodetic Observatory Wettzell (GOW) of the Bundesamt für Kartographie und Geodäsie (BKG) in Germany.
This new Dewar is based on the design of a standard cryogenic Test Dewar. However, the BKG Test Dewar has several remarkable features including the modularity of the enclosure which can be easily configured to receive large components such as RF feeds (up to diam.200mm, H~160mm) on its 15K stage, using a large vacuum window and an Infra-Red filter window.
