Final Presentation of 26 GHz Study

Published by

The final presentation of the results of a study into the use of the 26 GHz Frequency band for ESA ground stations was held at ESOC, Darmstadt, 31st October 2007. The presentation was given Callisto as prime contractor for the study supported representatives from the University of Pavia and ERA Technology. The feasibility study investigated the upgrade of ESA Deep-Space Antenna network to support the newly allocated frequency band for Space Research missions in the range 25.5 to 27 GHz.

Callisto poursuit sa collaboration avec le CNES

Published by

Callisto wins a major contract from the Indian Space Research Organisation

Published by

Callisto is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a major contract from the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).

The contract is for the supply of a cryo-cooled low noise amplifier system for a satellite ground station and the contract has been awarded by the ISRO Telemetry, Tracking & Command Network (ISTRAC) located in Bangalore. ISTRAC is responsible for the development and operation of a worldwide network of ground stations to support of India’s space programme. ISTRAC has recently embarked on the development of a new ground station for scientific satellites, which will be sent out of Earth orbit to explore the solar system, so called “Deep Space” missions. For these Deep Space missions a very sensitive ground station is required featuring a large antenna and needing very sensitive cryo-cooled low noise amplifiers.
